These terms govern your use of the Dentist Locator website. They explain what our service is, what it isn't, and how responsibility is shared. Please read them. By using the site you accept them.

We're an independent directory that helps you find and contact dental practices. We're not your dentist and not an emergency service. We try hard to keep information accurate and sourced, but you should confirm anything important with the practice. We don't, and legally can't, exclude our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or for fraud. What we do make clear is that the treatment relationship is between you and the practice.
1Who we are
This website ("Dentist Locator", "we", "us") is operated by GETGROWTH LTD, registered in England & Wales, company number 17275463 (Companies House record), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected]. "You" means anyone using the site.
2Our service, and its limits
Dentist Locator is an independent information and referral platform. We help you find dental practices and their published details, and we link you to practices so you can contact or book with them directly.
We are not: a dental practice or provider of treatment; the NHS, a regulator or a commissioner of care; an emergency or urgent-care service; or a party to the treatment relationship between you and any practice. We don't give dental or medical advice.
Listings, availability, fees, appointment arrangements, clinical advice and treatment are set and controlled by each practice, not by us. Where we show that information, §4 explains where it comes from, the care we take over it, and its limits. We don't guarantee that any practice is taking patients, can see you (including urgently), offers a particular treatment, or charges a particular price.
3Emergencies
This site is not an emergency service, and it is not designed to help you find urgent or emergency dental care. You should not rely on it if you need urgent help. We do not assess symptoms, provide triage, or arrange urgent treatment, and we do not guarantee that any listed practice can see you urgently.
4Accuracy of information
We compile listings from public sources, each nation's regulator, publicly available information, and the NHS, and from practices themselves. We describe this on our Data sources and Methodology pages. We take reasonable care, attribute information to its source, and show a last-checked date.
However, information can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and we provide it "as is" to the extent the law allows. You should confirm anything that matters, NHS availability, prices, opening hours, whether you can be seen, directly with the practice before relying on it. Nothing on the site is a clinical endorsement or a recommendation that a particular practice is suitable for you.
5Booking and your relationship with practices
When you contact or book with a practice through a link on our site, you do so directly with that practice. Any appointment, treatment, payment and care is a matter between you and the practice, on the practice's own terms. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for it.
6Acceptable use
You may use the site for your own lawful purposes. You may not misuse it, including by extracting or copying listing data from the site systematically or in bulk, whether manually or by automated means, interfering with its operation, or using listing data other than as permitted. These restrictions are set out in our Acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms.
7Accounts
Some features need an account. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Practice accounts and paid plans are also subject to the listing management policy and the Subscription terms. How we handle your account data is covered by the Privacy notice.
8Intellectual property
The site, its design and its compiled database are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law, including database rights. You may view and use listings for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, extract or re-use substantial parts of the database, or make repeated and systematic extractions, without our permission. Regulator and NHS information remains subject to the rights of those bodies.
9Third-party links
We link to practices' own websites, booking tools and to NHS and regulator pages. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or services. A link is not an endorsement.
10Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.
Subject to that:
- We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of dental practices, including their clinical care, advice, availability, pricing, cancellations or conduct.
- We are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on listing information that you could reasonably have confirmed with the practice.
- We are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, to the extent the law allows.
- Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of £100 or the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Liability to paying practices is set out in more detail in the Subscription terms.
Nothing in this section takes away rights you have by law. If any part of it cannot lawfully apply to you, the rest still applies.
11Your responsibilities
You agree to use the site honestly, to confirm important details with practices, and not to rely on the site as medical advice. If you submit information (for example a correction), you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
12Changes to the site and terms
We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may update these terms. If we make a significant change to the terms we'll take reasonable steps to tell you, for example by a notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. We log changes on our Policy updates page.
13Privacy
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy notice and Cookie policy, which form part of these terms.
14Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your home nation.
