Acomb Dental Practice

I am very happy with everything relating to treatment, staff, premises etc. at this clinic but yesterday I was not happy about the amount charged for a check up, which was £69, increased from £65 at my last visit. On the website there is an offer for new patients of £65 for a routine exam and x-rays. It is only a difference of £4 but I, as a regular attender for twice yearly check ups, resent being charged more than a new patient. I can see that it is an offer to entice new business but nonetheless it grates with me.

I have had a brilliant experience at Acomb Dental since registering a few months ago. The team are very attentive and make you feel like a human not a number. On my first visit the practice manager happened to pop out to the reception area, introduced herself on passing and we had a lovely chat. I felt very welcomed! In particular Liam (hygienist) is fantastic. I feel I can smile again. I wear fixed braces and have been suffering with gingivitis. Saw a highly competent dentist yesterday for a necessary extraction. Clean, friendly practice. Staff most helpful. Painless extraction - I could not ask for more. Quick appointment, all in all an extremely professional practice. It does not get any better - recommended.
