I never thought I'd say such positive things about visiting a dentist, but I really do love going to Hygeia. I sometimes feel like I'm in a luxury spa for my teeth rather than a dentist! The staff are so incredibly welcoming, they make you a coffee when you arrive if you want, and everyone remembers who you are. The quality of the dental care is also phenomenal. I have had some issues with my gums, and the amount of care and attention the team are putting into supporting this just blows me away. Just wanted to say how happy my wife and i are finding Hygeia. The quality of the dentistry is the best we have ever experienced, and the communication and service from reception is superb - and makes a massive difference. We would highly recommend Hygeia.

I have been using this service recently and I am really impressed. Firstly, there is parking, which is rare for any dentist in Totnes! It's a tiny practice, just 1 dentist and 1 hygienist. The dentist is the kindest woman I have ever met. She's super thorough and is really gentle. I explained to the hygienist that I hadn't done this process in a long time and so I asked she talk me through what's happening as we go and she was excellent at doing this. After six decades of being terrified of going to a dentist at last I have found the most caring dentist in Jo. Her team are warm, caring, efficient and from day 1, they all have made what used to be a dreaded event, dare I say to now a pleasant experience! Yes, I now look forward to going to the dentist. Jo is clearly a first class professional who takes her time to explain the necessary procedures and has wonderful interpersonal skills which has put me at ease throughout.
