Dunbar Dental Clinic

Have had some decent experiences here over the years but, in the current situation - do not expect even an emergency appointment! We were told they would ring us but, after day 3, 4 & 5 roll by & no appointment I'm glad I rang a dentist where we would be in Morocco over the holidays who got us an appt straightaway & it was sorted out efficiently & professionally there. Whilst they can't be blamed for the current dental crisis, they should at least just be honest & tell you there is no hope for appt any time soon instead of leaving you waiting for a phone call that never arrives.

This dental clinic is helping me and has friendly staff. Only problem is their waiting times are so long at the time I'm writing this, this was not the case in the past and may not be in the future. They do give sit and wait appointments if they are booked up for that morning and I only had to wait half about 45mins. The Dentist John Rautenbach is a capable dentist, he works there.

Despite some bad reviews of a certain dentist here, I found him excellent, spoke clearly, explained everything and gave useful advice. He was very gentle and cared about his job , the work was done with no problems.

Very poor staff behaviour I had in this clinic the worse experience with a dentist ever: he cleaned my teeth without using any prophylactic paste on his probe, which was scratching my teeth and made my gum bleed... That was done just before the anaesthetics could work, therefore probably with intention to hurt. Why do I believe it was done on purpose? Because only part of the teeth were done before he left the room for letting the anaesthetics work.
