I recently had to ring nhs 111 for medical help, after giving all my symptoms I was put in contact with Old Swan medical Center. Was triaged and a community nurse came to see me, Sonja was the nurse and all I can say is she and the team were absolutely brilliant, they are a credit to the Profession. Do not understand my mental health at all won't be using this service again come out the meeting very up set and angry my anxiety kicked in due to people around me so had to leave not for me this rather keep in about my mental lost my son at 22 weeks failed NHS and you think talking about it helps no ot did not may be getting staff who knows how to talk to people I would never use this place again

Sadly, absolutely horrendous. Crisis team wouldn't know a crisis if the word 'crisis' got up and walked in full view of them.

Called their urgent mental health line as i'm extremely close to suicide and have been seeing warning signs coming (it's something I've been through before) only for the lady on the line to ask for excruciating detail about my >1 year prior suicide attempts (as in she asked about how i tightened the [item] around my neck 3 times over), was rudely interrupted multiple times ("i think you'll find i asked..." whilst i was trying to answer the question) and finally was told my problem was that i should just "get a job" since i was fired a number of months ago (but notably can't get work).
