Dorset Dental Clinic

Just had a very useful appointment at the Dorset Dental Clinic. The receptionist gave me a warm welcome. The waiting room was comfortable and relaxing. I was seeing Miriam who was just wonderful. She gave clear explanations and good advice. I'd especially like to thank you, Miriam.

Thank you Kate and Dental nurse, Danielle for a great Hygiene appointment yesterday. Kate was thorough, informative and did a lovely job. This was my first appointment with Kate and I will definitely be returning to her in a few months. Dorset Dental Practice is a lovely place where all staff are friendly and welcoming from the receptionist to all clinical professionals. I highly recommend!

I tried to book with this practice as a new patient and paid a deposit, only to later discover that I wouldn’t even be seeing a dentist. That information was conveniently not made clear upfront. When I questioned this, I was told the earliest appointment with an actual dentist wouldn’t be until March — completely unacceptable. Communication is just as bad. It takes around six hours for anyone to return a call, so if you have anything even remotely urgent, you’re essentially on your own. This is not how a healthcare service should operate. I am now the proud recipient of a new set of molars via implants that Dr Philip McCauley expertly fitted this week. This treatment is expensive, but I think it gives great peace of mind as Philip is a perfectionist. Together with his expertise and his excellent team, I don't hesitate to recommend his clinic, Philip and the staff.
