Alder Road Practice

Lovely practice with fantastic staff. Always a pleasure to see Abbi (hygienist). She puts you at ease, is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything well. Dr Lockyer has a good sense of humour and, likewise, puts you at ease. Reception staff always very helpful and efficient. The practice is well maintained and has a calming atmosphere. Overall, I would highly recommend this practice!

The dental practice is clean and well presented, dentists are friendly and knowledgeable, however the reception staff is not very welcoming. As I walked in I was alone in the waiting room and had to wait until the Lady was looking at me, once I had her attention there was no smile or kindness in her face. This is not the first time that I have experienced this kind of arrogance at this practice. Disappointing for a dentist who is taking a lot of money ( no NHS patients availability, of course) for a 10 mins check up. A smile would go a long way especially at a dentist, not to forget some …

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the staff at reception. They were friendly and professional. Treatment was explained clearly by the staff and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. 100% recommend this dental practice.

I hadn't been to the dentist for 10 years, a very old filling fell out, so required a trip. First I was very pleased to see they were still taking NHS patients (on benefits), and was impressed how quickly I got an appointment, it wasn't an emergency. The dentist explained my options, I only needed the standard filling. The work was done quickly and was painless, no injection required. No follow up required. I would recommend them. My only gripe, but this is me, is they handed me some kind of tablet for updating my details, I'm old school with computers and don't do well with those new fangl…
