Penclawdd Dental Practice

Text me on Saturday to say I had an appointment the next Monday at 10.30. Tried to call the same day to cancel as per text Instruction but they are closed all weekend so no choice to call the Monday morning before the appointment. The reception worker said it counts as a late cancel as if I had any other choice. Why not message at time where customers/patients have enough time to contact. Not a big deal for me but found this a bad way of service. Gonna try and find another practice.

Limited and basic NHS dental service offered with a private service charge. Seems the only solution for problem or missing teeth is dentures. After visiting on my last check up with a fractured front tooth and a cracked tooth I was told to leave it alone, I paid £65 for that information. I found this as very poor communication and uninterested in any treatment that involves actual dentistry skills other than quick 5 minute checkup and a quick filling seems to be limit of service provided. This is not private practice service.

Been with the practice for a few years. Always been happy with everything. Today, day before good Friday. I called to see if I can get an emergency appointment as the pain I've had for a few days got unbearable, couldn't imagine this over Easter holidays. Told to come in but would have to wait for a spare spot between appointments. Within half an hour been seen. Wisdom tooth was wobbling. Expected to have to make an appointment for the extraction. But tooth was pulled straight away. Could not be happier with Liz and all the staff. I would ignore all the bad comments. Great dental practice
