My brother recently had his check-up and cleaning at Tooting Bec Dental and had a great experience. The team were professional, friendly and made him feel completely at ease throughout his appointment. My mum was also treated there and she is absolutely thrilled with the results, she genuinely cannot stop smiling! The care, attention to detail and kindness shown to her made such a difference. I went to see the condition of my oral health and to also to remove tartar and polish my teeth, expecting it to be a complicated process. I was pleasantly surprised by the dentist Imran and the nurse Sofia, as he succinctly and objectively explained these issues regarding my teeth using a detailed word document and correctly outlined further investigation is needed with a quick X-ray procedure. Having read through some of the one star reviews, I can a) agree on a lot of them and b) am mentally preparing myself for a paragraph in defense to my review but I do want to flag my experience before anyone considers using their dental services! I was referred to see a dentist from my GP due to TMJ related issues. I called Tooting Bec dental to see if this was something they could look into (appreciate TMJ is more jaw related than dental) but they confirmed this is something they cover. I recently attended a hygiene appointment here which was advertised as a 45-minute session with air polish and cost £95. The actual treatment itself was very brief (only a few minutes of scaling and air polishing), with a significant portion of the time spent on photographs and consultation. While my teeth did feel smooth afterwards, the appointment finished much sooner than expected and did not feel like the in-depth hygiene session that was advertised when booking.
