I have come to the dentist at least 15 years. The service has slowly gone down hill and of course off the edge since becoming private. My last 3 app: 1. Cancelled then I was scolded for not coming that year, and yes, scolded. 2. Second app - dentist didn’t even show up. 3. Got booked in for a private app on the website despite being NHS and forking out an extra £60 as I didn’t know what to do. Easy to make appointment, easy to talk with. Dentist explained beyond the treatment and showed me a sample to fill the gap between my front teeth. She even tried it on me and let me check on the mirror. She recommended me to book the hygiene appointment.
We had a wonderful experience with Dentist Hassan. He was amazing with the kids and the way he explained the check up procedure and advice on oral hygiene. We commend him on his dedication to his patients!! More power.
Yesterday, during a procedure to fill my son's tooth, the drill bit came loose, risking being swallowed or causing damage to my son's mouth. Dr. Sasha Patel's only reaction was to shift the blame for the incident onto a colleague who was not present, who, she claimed, had inserted the wrong bit, rather than checking to see if the patient was okay. In addition to her negligence in not checking the condition of the equipment beforehand, she demonstrated a complete lack of regard for her patient's condition and empathy by not even asking him how he was feeling.
