Denmark Hill Dental Surgery

TLDR: Receptionist really not pleasant Thought I had an appointment at 09:30 today (10/05/2024) at this practice, admittedly I went to the wrong address so I can't attest to the dentists themselves, just the experience I had with whoever answers their phone line. Arrived at 09:00 when the practice was supposed to open. It was quite hot so after waiting 10 mins for any sign of life I called them up to ask "hi, I have an appointment at 09:30, I'm a bit early, could I please sit inside", all I got was a quite angry guy saying "you do not have an appointment here!", "Read you messages properl…

I would like to comment that my wife had a problem and could not keep the appointment for cleaning, little understanding on the part of the person who attends there. All the people have problems and I let them know 2 hours in advance and they tell me that I lose the money £80 for not providing any service. The lack of empathy in this place is shameful. I understand the policy of this place but the customers must understand. I have given him £80 and he provided no service.

I attempted to rebook an appointment because I was unwell, but the doctor on the phone was quick to speak and slow to listen. She was dismissive, impatient, and difficult to reason with. When I asked for her name as a reference for when I called back later, as she instructed, she rudely said she didn’t have time to spell it. This was particularly unhelpful since her name, like mine, is unfamiliar to many people. She then hung up on me. I have recently gone through a wisdom tooth surgery under Dr Prag and Nurse Sally and they both treated professionally with great care and humbleness. I was completely impressed with their service. Highly recommend them
