Got referred here with periodontitis and I found it a great practice withe friendly and helpful staff. Especially my dentist Marilena. Who was very kind, gentle, supportive, considerate, knowledgeable, professional... I could carry on indefinitely with adjectives and I wish all NHS dentists were like her, but suffice to say I am very pleased with her work and advice
I am not satisfied with this dental practice. I had an appointment yesterday 12 January & had to cancel as I had a bad cough I left a message on Sunday. Yesterday I got a call from the practice the lady said she did not think she could offer me an appointment as I had cancelled an appointment last year she would have to speak to her manager. This practice would give appointments to private patients very quickly as last time I was there a lady was offered an appointment the next day if it was private I usually have to wait about 2 months to get an appointment I will not be using them again
Called to cancel appointment later in the day, due to be poorly with flu and not being able to attend. Understand that my deposit for a cleaning is taken is it’s not in 3 working days, but They’ve informed me their policy is to never allow me to book another dentist check up with them. Absolutely ridiculous, when I’m unable to and also doing the right thing to not go in contagious and potentially make others sick. Lost a customer.
I had an appointment with the dentist regarding my wisdom tooth and was disappointed with the quality of communication and assessment. I was not properly instructed during the scan, yet was told the image was unclear because it “wasn’t pushed enough”... I had to repeatedly ask questions to understand my diagnosis and treatment plan. I was also prescribed antibiotics despite having no signs of acute infection, only mild local inflammation, which felt unnecessary. Overall, the appointment felt poorly explained.
