I went to Leigh walk in on a Sunday morning after a bad fall 10 days earlier. I only waited around 90 minutes from walking in to walking out, and this was after seeing the nurse, 4 x rays and then seeing the nurse again after she checked my results with a doctor. They could not have been better, more helpful or caring from the receptionist to all the nurses. Very good place to go if you need them and thanks for all that they did for me.
I visited this afternoon on the advice of my GP as we were concerned that I might have a fracture. All the staff, including the two receptionists, Rachel the triage nurse and her colleague, the radiologist and her colleagues, and Jo the nurse who assessed my x-rays and injured joint, were fantastic. They were all very polite, friendly and professional. They are a real credit to Leigh Walk In Centre and the NHS. I am very grateful for your help and advice 🥰
I visited last night after my stitches reopened when I was at work. All staff from when I arrived was really friendly especially the triage nurse Eve who was so kind and caring. Any question wasn’t too much trouble and the professionalism throughout was amazing If I have any problems I would come again.
I visited the centre last night and the staff, although at capacity and extremely busy, were superb. Although extremely busy I was seen by the triage nurse quickly. Unfortunately though it seems that there were a lot of time wasters there. My reason for saying this is the number of names that were called several times, up to 4 times in most cases, the patients had left, obviously couldn't be bothered waiting. This was infuriating because they didn't have the good manners to tell the receptionist that they were leaving thus wasting the time of the very busy staff. One patient who was sat beh…
