I had a great experience with my dentist today as did my mum in her appointment. The dentist completely non-judgmental, took plenty of time to explain everything, and were genuinely caring and considerate throughout the visit. It made me feel really comfortable and well looked after. All members of the practice really show kindness and consideration, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients. My family and I have been patient since January 2025. We travel from Carlisle. The distance is worth it for good dental care.

Very impressed. I was registered with them on Saturday. I had an examination on the Monday. Passed on all accounts. We discussed my teeth and agreed a policy to follow and then I booked my next appointment in a year’s time. Very well looked after. I am 73 and this is my third dental practice in my lifetime. The last practice has recently been sold and the new management team has increased its. Annual charge from £193 to £334 in 3 years, which I thought excessive. I asked them to justify the increase. I am still waiting for a reply.

The team are calm, welcoming and professional, and they explain everything clearly including the options so you actually understand what’s going on. I never felt rushed or judged. What I really appreciated is how transparent they are about costs. Prices were explained clearly upfront, with the different options, so there were no surprises. I’m usually very nervous about going to the dentist, but my experience at GK Dental Hawick was fantastic from start to finish. Dr Shahrukh carried out two fillings and a clean for me and was absolutely brilliant at his job — calm, reassuring, and incredibly skilled. His professionalism made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free, which is something I never thought I’d say about a dental appointment. He’s an amazing clinician and really puts patients at ease. I had such a great experience that I would highly recommend GK Dental to everyone.
