I came here yesterday as an emergency appointment, the dentist a lovely Irish lady I forgotten her name was so nice and made me feel so at ease, she could see how scared I was and was constantly asking am I ok etc, I had a wisdom tooth extracted she made the whole experience quick and was so compassionate towards to me, the nicest dentist I have ever been done just wish I could register at whichever dentist she is at and only wish more dentists where as patient and showed a caring nature like her . Assuming this is the emergency dental hospital in which you call 111 to access. This was an awful experience and I do not recommend. The call handlers for the emergency dentist telephone line are nasty, a liar and disrespectful. Apparently the call handler called this “her clinic”, and “her hospital”. She denied rightful access to this emergency centre, making up lies that there was no appointments to get me off the phone, she actively went against NICE advice and clinical guidelines around pain, and lied about the issue not being eligible for emergency care when it was. If I could give zero stars I would. Admittedly I was a few minutes late for my appointment which I apologized for as I had taken a wrong turn. The woman on reception was really nice. Unfortunately that's where the positives end.I have extreme pain in my gums and teeth and think I have a wisdom tooth coming in the back. I was suffering from severe pain in my upper back teeth at the roots and was referred through the dental emergency department here. The receptionists and the assistants were very respectful with me and unfortunately I did not expect this rudeness from the doctor. How did she treat me today in an unsatisfactory way?
