I have been a patient at Lauriston Dental for over 15 years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. Today, I had an issue that was dealt with incredibly quickly and efficiently. Shane and the team went out of their way to fit me in last minute and treat my issue seamlessly. I feel so much better now, thank you! I also want to add how valued and listened to I always feel. I was referred to Dr Shane by a friend and could not have been more pleased with the entire practice and of course the results of my composite bonding. In my consultation, Dr Shane took the time to discuss and figure out exactly what I wanted. This made a huge difference as it made me re-think certain aspects and understand why I wanted my teeth to look a certain way. I’ve been seeing a female dentists for a few years and been pretty happy. However I recently seen Shane (hence the one star). It seems that he’s not getting a great reputation at the moment based on other recent reviews. I just find him unprofessional, and I’d agree that he’s got a bit of a superiority complex going on. He can be quite patronising and not particularly helpful when you are there. Ive been to other dentist who were much better in practice and who use better components.

I’ve been with this dental practice for a number of years. The female dentists had been great. However, in my opinion it was a disappointing experience with Shane (as it’s been noted in reviews below). During an emergency appointment, he laughed after describing being in pain, not something you expect. I felt that he was quite negative and condescending.
