Birchfield Dental Care

I visit the practice for scale and polish with Robyn and she always takes a great deal of care with my treatment. She also took care of me when I felt unwell at the start of my most recent appointment, ensuring I felt well enough to proceed after recovering. Robyn also provides advice on how I can improve my oral health for my next visit in a respectful and professional manner.

I had a temporary filling placed yesterday & the dentist & assistant were very attentive, very transparent about what they were doing & why. Good sense of humour as well. All in all, I can’t complain. Filling still in place, no pain in my tooth but I was told if I did have any pain to call for an emergency appointment, otherwise I’ll get a permanent filling placed in one month. Also had check ip appointments with my two kids last month & the kids got on well with dentist. No complaints.

As always the staff are lovely and totally put me at ease. I have dental phobia but they always go out of their way to make the process calm, quick and totally pain free! I can’t thank them enough for putting up with me 😂

Having had bad childhood experiences with school dentists, the Birchfield Practice have been brilliant with me for well over ten years now. Robert really put me at ease today as I had a lot of anxiety about getting two old fillings redone. He has made a huge difference with the work I have had done due to a traumatic fracture of both my front teeth growing up. I think people underestimate the effect that poor dental health or damaged teeth has on a person but there are many things a dentist can do to alleviate any fears you may have. Thanks again for today.
