Rock House Dental Practice

I'm 64 years old and have had some not-so-good experiences of dentists in the distant past. Consequently (partly due to finances and, partly:fear) I haven't been to the dentist for about 20 years. My teeth are a shambles. On holiday, last October, a big chunk of tooth came away whilst eating a prawn. On return to The UK, I summoned up the courage to book an appointment at Rock House. Rock house wells dental practice an absolute superb well ran business that I cannot fault. 5 stars all round. Every single member of staff I've had the pleasure to meet has been happy,kind and attentive. They get the job done and with a smile. Highly recommend.

Recently, (November 2025) I had the misfortune of experiencing the second "dry socket" of my life - the first following a tooth extraction in London (October 2024) at another dental clinic. Some people are just prone to getting a "dry socket". A clot is supposed to form and I had left Rock House with a good one in place. The anaesthetic had worn off that day, but by the time I could fully open my mouth a couple of days later, to my horror the crucial clot had vanished! (I had only drunk warm liquidised soup, being especially careful after my Oct 2024 experience not to upset the clot…

I haven't been to the dentist for years and quite frankly find them scary. A filling fell out just before a trip to America so I was ringing round on a Saturday for places that could help - enter in Rock House! They had an appointment that day and handled the filling with such ease it completely transformed my relationships with dentists entirely. Thank you so much Matthew (and wonderful assistant - sorry I forget your name!)
