(My) Dentist

I was working in the area and had a concern, so I popped into Loch Ryan Dentist hoping for a quick check-up. They were brilliant – saw me straight away, did an X-ray, reassured me, and it didn’t cost the earth. Really friendly and efficient service.

Tried to get new set. Of false teeth made as first set made by Polish girl down stairs did not fit told me to use bit of fixadent but no good so whent back and went to other polish girl up stairs we girl working with her said she will make you good set that fits when I went got them cost 350 she put them in my mouth and said how are they went to say slack as soon as I opened my mouth they fell strategic into her lap she said bit of fixedent on them I said why I came back to get a set that fits now I'm using a whole tube of gunke in less than a week and it's o Uer 5 …

It would be nice to be able to review the treatment I have received. However, following treatment in 2019 I was due a check up in March 2021!!!. Following lock down I finally got through to try to book an appointment in October 2021 to be told the earliest I could get in was October 2022. Made the appointment. Got a letter yesterday to say they had to cancel the appointment but to ring and they would be happy to rearrange. They lied. Rang this morning to be told they are not doing check ups. Have just had an extraction from Silvia Popa She said the injection, which was nothing, would be the most painful part and she was right. Frankly I was quite apprehensive but was completely reassured by Silvia and ended up having a lovely chat with her and her assistant. I will never fear a dentist again. Many many thanks John
