Shephall Dental Surgery

I have been coming to Shephall Dental Surgery for a few years now. I see Dr Tarika and her assistant, Amelia. They are a great team. They always make me feel welcome and safe. I have a number if dental issues, and Dr Tarika has helped me so much. She is patient, understanding and she really cares. She is a very good dentist and I am very thankful I am her patient. It was not until I received care from them both, that I realised how important the role of assistant is as well, and Amelia is very competent and attentive. Thank you to you both, and also to the lovely staff on reception.

The experience at Shepall Dental Surgery is always a pleasant one, which for some might be a reason for trepidation as one can appreciate. However having been a patient for some years now I can convey that myself and my family have been given an excellent experience overall when visiting for routine work and check ups since day one. A special mention for Dr Tarika, who in my humble opinion is probably one of the best dentists I have come across in my time. Having had childhood trauma at a dentist up North in the 1970’s & 80’s, I always avoided the dentist until I needed a root canal and was in a lot of pain. Now because of how good Dr Tarika is with nervous patients, the minute I have an issue I get an appointment. I 100% have confidence that there will be no pain or trauma. Amelia is always great as a dental nurse and no more choking on water from the drill. Everything is very calm with them both, which for me is perfect. I highly recommend them both as a team and the work they do. I got my smile back and will show my teeth in photographs now.

Anne-Marie my hygienist was so lovely and the first dentist I’ve had who was kind and calm, she’s helped me so much and given me the tools to help myself. Courtney has also been lovely and so helpful. Really recommend this surgery.
