Mydentist - High Street - Higham Ferrers

I joined this dental practice along with my son, and we both had our first visits recently. Overall the experience of getting registered was very straightforward and easy and I was able to do this over the phone. This was followed up by an online form which was again easy to complete for myself with my sons being completed on paper at the practice. Reception staff were really lovely and helpful and explained everything clearly. My usual dentist under nhs yet encouraged to pay for private felt very coercive and was told I had to pay even after finding out my issue fall under nhs guidelines for free / banded care yet told had to use the private .. asked for info and understanding due to LD mid sentence of me talking was interrupted and spoken to rudely by a lady at reception called Lesley! Shame that people are not more understanding of others difficulties and feel the need to talk down to people! Haven't been to my Dentist since 2019 so had come off their list. I would need to join the waiting list. I explained that I had to confirm that I do not have any infections for an upcoming heart procedure. The receptionist immediately gave me an appointment within the week. I've Just had my appointment, they must have squeezed me in as it was very busy. Couldn't wish for a more considerate and speedy service.
