Horsefair Dental Practice

I feel so incredibly lucky to be at this practice, they are amazing. I have chronic health problems and I am having cancer treatment and they make my life so much easier. Every member of the team the fantastic caring doctors, nurses, medical practitioner, practice pharmacist and the reception team are all excellent at their jobs. The online booking system is easy to use, but if I need urgent care they are always happy to help on the phone or in person. They take the worry of having major health problems away. I can't thank them enough.

I called and spoke to an urgent care practitioner called Kathryn who was so nice and compassionate. She made me an appointment for the following day, as I couldn't attend the one she offered on the same day. I went to Hill Springs which was clean, well organised and the receptionists were really lovely too. Kathryn put me at ease, listened to my concerns, without judgement, and treated me appropriately. All round, I found it a good experience and had no issues.

Whichever idiot decided to consolidate all 3 surgeries with a single phone number should be sacked. I could walk to my surgery faster than it takes to get through on the phone but then I can never actually get an appointment at my own surgery. The way GP surgeries are run needs to change.

I have no problem with the medical services, but trying to ring the surgery is a disaster! My record wait is ninety minutes……when I do eventually get through, I usually get decent service. I MUCH preferred the old system….. I was usually answered much more rapidly, and you knew to whom you were speaking, too! I would change doctors, but every surgery seems to have adopted this system, which I don’t like at all!
