Some of the staff there are very nice, my son has been in there over a year now and it gets very hard for him at times when it’s limited the time they can go on outings, but I understand as they have other patients to deal with as well.But the thing that bothers me if one of the staff takes a disliking to say my son or any other patient, the staff seem to stick together and make life hard for them, forgetting there job is to make things pleasant and understanding of the trauma they have been through . My son was in a bad way while left in isolation in prison we as a family was left out in the cold we had no hope of getting the treatment my son needed . Until the team at wathwood hospital got involved hand on heart I carnt prises the staff as highly as they deserve they have gone above and beyond to get back the son I had before his mental health break down to the point where he not only know what or who he was but not recognising me has his mother , they have taken time out not just for him but us as a family too as a mother of a child with mental health issues all I can say is thank you…
