Dental Teaching Unit

Just went into day and an amazing dentist finally agreed to remove my tooth after years of a on and off agonizing infection. The first time in my life the injection didn't hurt nearly at all, managed to get the whole tooth out without having to break it up and talked through everything with me and his supporting assistant was just as amazing. Thankyou so so much. The guy deserves a pay raise and so does the assistant I couldn't recommend this place enough. And I'm also scared of the dentist.

Had my wisdom teeth removed here and first removal, absolutely amazing, couldn’t fault it at all and so friendly during the whole process. Came back 3 weeks later, expecting the same process but unfortunately it wasn’t. I ended up having the training student remove my other tooth and inject me with the anaesthesia. She seemed to struggle to remove this tooth and I was worried she was going to break the rest of my bottom teeth, with the force she was using. Avoid this place like the plague. Trainee dentist first of all stuck the needle of anaesthetic in my lip, apologised then proceeded to extract my tooth before anaesthetic kicked in and all the while the main dentist,who should have been supervising the procedure was sat on the couch oblivious to what was happening because it appears that there were much more important things happening on their mobile phone

Absolutely horrendous service. I was referred there 6 months ago, completed the form the day it came to say I did want to be seen and personally hand delivered it. I was told I would be waiting 4-6 weeks, I waited rang and was told I am on the list but now the wait was more like 8 weeks but I would not be waiting that long due to being on the list. Again nothing, rang and chased and told the wait was now 12 weeks but that they would add me to the reserve list.
