I have recently become a new patient at Ropergate Dental Care due to following Dr Alistair Reynolds from his previous practice. Since attending here I have always had really positive experiences. From the moment I walk in the staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. Despite being busy, Alistair always takes the time to explain everything clearly, answering all my questions, and makes sure I am comfortable throughout the appointment. My daughter was 8 minutes late to an appointment for a minor filling that 'Isn't needed but recommended as a preventative measure'. She is 19 and in full time education with no income - she was charged £180. £90 paid in advance. Because she was 8 minutes late they said we had to pay another £90 and it was 'Company Policy' to charge this. Because the appointment was 'missed'. When I explained we have been a loyal customer for over 18 years I got laughed at by two receptionists - witnessed by my daughter. Attended today for a replacement filling. My old metal filling had a crack, this was replaced with a white composite filling. Alistair was amazing. I didn’t even feel the anaesthetic injection. I was very nervous but Alistair was very reassuring and explained everything, every step of the way. The dental nurses were excellent too. Great experience, I cannot thank him enough.
