Had an appointment with the hygienist at Meavy Way Dental Practice on Thursday and I’m extremely happy with the result. The whole experience was smooth and professional from start to finish. Erin, the nurse was incredibly helpful and patient and really helped put me at ease throughout the appointment. She was kind and very attentive. Pari, the practice manager, is always happy to help and goes out of her way to accommodate joint appointments with the dentist and hygienist whenever possible. Joanne has been my dentist for approximately 15-20 years and her attention to detail and thoroughness are exceptional. I've always been impressed with the team and the standard of care. The dentist was running approximately 40 minutes late. During this time, I observed another patient being charged £40 for arriving just over 10 minutes late due to her bus being delayed, despite the fact that she had contacted the practice in advance to inform them she would be late. The receptionist appeared unsympathetic and did not acknowledge the patient’s visible distress, even after she explained that she could not afford the charge for circumstances beyond her control.
