The one star is for the frequency with which they’ve cancelled our NHS dental appointments. Over the past 2 years 75% of appointments made for our family of 4 are cancelled the day before. This would appear to be in order to prioritise private patients. It’s very disappointing as the dental care once you finally manage to attend an appointment has been good enough. Just this week I was booked for a hygienist appointment that I’ve paid £40 towards already and it was cancelled at 1630 the day before. I asked if replacement options could be emailed to me and nobody sent any. It’ll was on me to…
Experiences have been somewhat polarising. From helpful reception staff to somewhat abrupt staff. Dentists have been good, then I've had times where the dentist has been late and then rushes through my appointment to catch up. Some dentists seems very focused on promoting additional services with inhouse consultants. Not bad but not great.
I felt compelled to write a review, having read some of the bad reviews for this practice, as I have to disagree. I have found the reception at the dental practice to be excellent and very helpful, face to face and over the telephone. I have only been with Damira for past 6 months, I moved across after my original dental practice changed to take only private and was no longer NHS. The first dentist that I had, I didn't feel comfortable with and I asked to move dentist. I felt that I was listened to really well by the team at Damira, and I was moved to a Dentist that I now feel I can trust. …
Dr Farheen was amazing - gentle but very efficient. She was honest and I could tell she puts the wellbeing of each patient first. Her assistant was very kind and great too although I didn't catch his name. Overall pleased with Damira :)
