I am writing to raise a concern regarding your NHS appointment policy and how it has affected my ability to continue receiving NHS dental care at your practice. My last appointment with the practice was in January 2020. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I attempted to arrange further appointments but was informed that the practice was not accepting routine appointments at that time. In 2023, when I attempted to return, I was told that I could not be offered an NHS appointment because I did not have a recent 6-month appointment record, and that I would instead need to pay private fees. Cannot recommend Judy at Baxter’s Dental highly enough, I have severe anxiety and as a result have needed some extensive work done, never once have I been treated with anything but complete care and consideration and they have been so understanding of my anxiety, I can honestly say I have never felt so relaxed in the dentists chair and cannot thank Judy enough for giving me my smile back. Unfortunately I do not know the dental nurses name who assisted Judy but she was also the kindest soul who kept checking I was ok whilst having my treatment. Thank you again ladies for your care 😊
I’m a nervous patient and haven’t been to the dentist for several years which resulted in me needing 3 fillings. At the initial appointment and the actual treatment appointment my dentist looked after me, made sure I was comfortable at several intervals and did everything really quickly. I think she did 3 fillings in 30 mins! I can’t recommend them enough! I wish I remembered her name for next time, she wears bright pink trainers! Her assistant was lovely too.
A great experience this morning! First visit to the dentist, in years and my children’s first visit too. Receptionists were very welcoming. Enzo and the rest of the team were exceptional! Despite my children and myself being anxious, we are confident& looking forward to our next visit! Thank you.
