As a child my dentist was known as Baker the Butcher from Boundary Street, (Liverpool) and I’ve had a fear of dentists ever since. However recently been accepted as an NHS patient at My Dentist, Kirkby town centre. Initial appointment I was seen by Dr Ivan Popov and assistant Megan. Dr Ivan explained in detail what problems I had with my teeth and what alternative treatments I could have. To day I had a filling, a tooth removed and a denture fitted. Throughout the procedure Dr Ivan and assistant Lindsey made me feel completely at ease and I am very grateful to them. This was the best experi…

Went in for an emergency filling today but the woman in the emergency number had not even booked me in, the receptionist was really nice and booked me in starlight away.. an hour later I had a permanent filling done (white as well) and a check up booked in all for the standard emergency dentistry cost. Also put me on the list to be seen as an NHS dentist. Lovely receptionist and dentist.

Booked in for my teeth to be cleaned ,paid upfront for £105, at the end of the session was told I need to come back again to finish the session. At NO point was I told I would have to pay AGAIN £105 until AFTER. I should have been informed BEFORE that a teeth clean is £210 NOT the £105 I was quoted !!! This is very misleading. Even the receptionist was in agreement that this is not acceptable.

No where on the paper or during her consultation was she informed she'd have to set up the credit agreement beforehand. Once her treatment was complete, she asked about the finance option and was told she'd have to pay it all upfront there and then.…
