Root canal treatment doesn't have a great press, to say the least! However, I can't fault the practice in any way; I was looked after brilliantly. The offending tooth was thoroughly examined first, I was avised that the process could take 90 minutes, but it was much less; I was advised there could well be pain and inflammation for a few days afterwards, I didn't even need paracetamol following the post anaesthetic wearing off. Excellent, thankyou.

Recently had a tooth extracted by David Quinn. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Very professional & caring. He explains the procedure in detail & will listen to what you have to say. Never had a problem with any of my treatments including part dentures, whoever makes them is also a genious. A brilliant team from the reception staff to David's assistant. Lowerbank is a long established, first class dental practice. I have been a patient there for many years and am currently a patient of Mr Philip Ellis. Philip is outstanding; his work has always been to the highest standard, he is thoroughly professional, always kind. He works with Helen, his nurse, for whom I also have the highest regard.. The surgery is high tech and impressive. Family members are also patients at Lowerbank and see Mr Woodall, Claire Allen and Mr Quinn, respectively We share the same view of the practice. Excellent. My experience over the years at Lowerbank Dental Practice has completely changed my attitude towards visits to the Dentist. I’m not sure anyone enjoys dental treatment but David Quinn makes it as pleasant as it is possible to be. David’s professionalism and pride in his work is shared by his dental nurses and all of the reception staff. David takes time to explain the treatment plan in an empathic and pragmatic manner which goes a long way to reducing any anxiety and helps to manage expectations.
