The receiptionist need be fired. I waited a long time, now standing at 25 mins, no one picked up the phone. The first time waited 10 mins, the person answered the phone said hello and instantly hanged up. I am standing next to my phone just picking it up and it was already hanged up. Unacceptable, customers wait 10 mins and now 30 mins are fine, but the receiptionist could not wait 2 seconds. Especially consider the call was because they postponed my son's appointment because the dentist need to take holiday on that day, and I need to call them to rebook an appointment.
Once past the warm, friendly and efficient receptionist you’re welcomed once again by the nurse and dentist. The dentist provided a professional assessment and gave me treatment options and recommendations with the pros and cons of each giving me the reassurance that she had the patient’s interest and best outcomes at heart. The treatment undertaken wasn’t straightforward however it was carried out efficiently and effectively with an outcome that exceeded my expectations. And it didn’t hurt a bit, magic! The reception NEVER picks up the phone. I’ve waited over 20 minutes and no one picks it up. I had to reschedule an appointment and waited for 20 minutes to speak to someone. When she finally answered she was just coughing down the phone and I don’t think she realised she had answered. She wasn’t particularly willing to help but rebooked my appointment, said I’d get a text/email yet I never did. Got an email today saying I missed my appointment so I doubt she ever rebooked me. This service is appalling and I wouldn’t recommend to go here .
I cannot fault any aspect of the Leyton Road Clinic. The receptionist is brilliant and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The Dentist is probably the best I have ever met. Took time to explain treatment in easy to understand terms. Even managed to carry out some work while I was there for my first visit and did an exceptional job. I honestly cannot praise this practise enough and am recommending them to everyone. Am even looking forward to my next visit in a few weeks which is a first for me in respect of Dentist visits.
