Churchdown Dental Surgery

Visited the surgery for the first time today and incredibly impressed with the care and attention from the staff on duty. Considering I had recently returned from abroad after having implants there, I was slightly sceptical about the manner in which I could have been perceived by the team. However, the reception I received was behind my expectations and so grateful for the warmth shown by the Receptionist's who had a friendly smile and a way of putting everyone at ease. I never thought I’d find myself leaving a five-star review for a dentist, but there you go. Helga is the calmest, kindest dentist I’ve ever met. I just had to have my third of three fillings. Being neurodivergent, I have a number of sensory issues, and like to understand every step of the process. Helga talked me through what was going to happen, suggested I listen to music through my noise cancelling headphones to help calm me, and gave me dark glasses to avoid the bright lights. New patient Had a thorough out check up and cleaning and he explained me very briefly how to look after my teeth and showed me correct technique of flossing. Excellent treatment received. Finally found a dentist very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
