I recently visited New Road Dental Surgery and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable the moment I walked in. This has been my dentist for at least 15 years, and during that time it has always been Simon, who runs the practice as a 1-man-band with Dental assistant and receptionist. Simons friendly & reassuring manner is what really impressed me, and his staff have always been good to me. Due to being a single dentist setup, it means when Simon is away for any reason, they forward you on to another dentist who provides "urgent cover". All the members of staff here are excellent. Simon is really gentle when anaesthetising the teeth, I hardly feel the needle! I hate having stuff done, but they are really good to me and my family. They didn't even laugh at me when I gagged on the mouth gag for the xray (🤣), they were so professional!
