Update: I original gave the surgery 1 star due to an incident with the hygienist. After communicating with the surgery Manager (Mrs Lane) I am happy that my concerns have been addressed and questions answered. It turns out the hygienist in question was agency staff and only temporary working at the surgery. Mrs Lane has assured me that the hygienist I had will not be working at the surgery again. I have been a patient here for many many years and have nothing but praise for the surgery and it's staff. The surgery is clean and comfortable and the equipment all looks very modern. Dental care has always been to an excellent standard and the staff are superb. I've had several different dentists with the practice over the years and all have been great, always taking the time to explain any treatments and also offering advice on how to improve dental hygeiene, etc... New to area after 18 yrs of basic dental services in rural France, what a joy to be back to experience caring customer service again. All staff friendly and efficient, and a proper and full examination with bite wing x-rays, the dentist did a thorough scrape and polish at same time, informed every step of way regarding charges, which are fair and not extortionate. Spacious waiting area, well equipped surgery, all clean, bright and airy. Thank you for your exemplary care.

The only thing I dreaded when I moved into the area was having to change my dentist. As a wimp of the first degree I had found a gentle, considerate dentist who caused no pain and I was even considering doing the 200 mile round trip just to stay with him. I needn't have worried! I visited this practice and met Stephen the dentist who was just as good if not better than my previous dentist. Very thorough, treatment without pain and he was also a very pleasant guy. Oh, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly as well!
