Queensway Oral Surgery Service

I was very anxious before the appointment, I was assured by my clinician that it was a straight forward procedure. The clinician Rebecca Heirons was really good, talking me through everything. The nurses are nice, calm and helpful. No ill effects from the surgery and any pain was managed very well. I don't like going to the dentist, however the team at Queensway made the experience as good as possible, I would use their service again. Overall I would recommend this practice.

Had my wisdom tooth removed on Wednesday under sedation. I am anxious at the dentist. I was put a ease straight away. Everyone was friendly. I had everything explained to me with what would happen through out, what to expect and the after care. I experienced person centred, professional care. All options explained and I was able to make informed decisions on how the procedure was carried out. The dental work was fantastic and recovery is going well. Thank you. Dr Korsen and her team are a model example of how dentistry should be. I was taken seriously, treated with respect and looked after throughout my wisdom tooth extraction. Had quite a traumatic experience elsewhere so was absolutely terrified, but Dr Korsen made sure I was 100% comfortable before booking me in, and then on the day she talked me through everything again. I was referred to Dr. Rebecca Hierons at Queensway by my dentist for a surgical tooth extraction, and I’m so glad I was. From the initial consultation to the procedure today, she made me feel calm and well looked after. Dr. Hierons explained everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable before, during, and after the procedure. The extraction went smoothly and was much easier than I expected.
