I'm a tourist in the city. I have a urinary tract infection. I sought care at this location through a Boots saleswoman. Upon arrival, I was not well received by the receptionist, who had no patience or wisdom in using the translator with me. I asked her if she wasn't patient, could she forward the care to someone else. A second woman, with short blonde hair, was reading the message on my phone, and I told her I was only seeking medical care. She told me to shut up and signaled for me to be quiet. This happened three times. I asked for my passport back, my cell phone, and the form I had fill…
I went in for my autistic sons blood test. I explained at reception what extra help we'll need and they delivered. We were called in quickly didn't have to wait at all. They let us sit i the room for a few minutes to be comfortable where they had social story for him tk understand the procedure. The lady (forgot to take her name, tall with hijab ) was WONDERFUL she explained every step in detail , kept chatting with him, asked for another colleague to help both were LOVELY then in the end she gave him sooo many stickers too. All in all I was soo anxious but they made it soo easy and comfort…
Blood test today was conducted by a trainee phlebotomist. He was brilliant. Was able to get the vein immediately, no moving the needle in and out or around. Medical condition and prescribed medication means I have regular blood tests. Today's was the best one for a long time. Hope he is posted here when he graduates. There was disabled parking today, the wait was limited to get to the counter to book in and for appointment time, seating was limited but I was able to find a seat. The only complaint is not being able to see the monitor from the seats, unless you are in the front row. Can the…
Not a very welcoming attitude at the reception. Good job I wasn't the patient I would have felt 100% worse. A smile and hello goes a long way!
