The surgery at Wheatbridge

For many years now, I've had first-class service from their excellent, caring staff who've always been fully responsive to my medical issues and made referrals promptly when requested. Appointments made in timely manner by courteous, professional staff. An excellent practice operating under much pressure.

Went to the doctors with severe symptoms of the menopause , my blood pressure was slightly high because of this and so was refused HRT. So I have been having severe symptoms of menopause now for about a year , bursting into tears. Chronic aches and pains , not sleeping , mood swings , irritability , this is just a pointless life and these people do not care at all . So I will grin and bear it but I have had enough . I am sick of feeling Like this , I can’t do anything don’t go out anymore and it is pointless going to this doctors . I would not recommend here at all as they have done…

If I could post lower than 1 star, I would. My health has deteriorated rapidly in the last few months, and this surgery has hindered, rather than helped, at nearly every level. One particular member of reception staff is unbelievably rude and condescending, and is simply never in a rush to help, while still gossiping in the back with other staff. One GP tried to tell me that my symptoms were all in my head, and that abnormal test results didn't warrant further investigation. I have always found this surgery to be very very good until my current problem. I had some tests last week one has come back abnormal. Advice from a GP to keep using a treatment I can buy over the counter. Tried to buy it over the counter to be told you cant use it over 65!!!!!!! Spoke to the Surgery again offered an appointment on 29/10 suggested that might not be soon enough as I have an infection and advised to ring 111.
