The New Chestnuts Dental Practice

I can’t recommend this dentist enough used for many years as did myself and my family before they left home. I am moving but will commute back to this dentist as always the best treatment and supportive attitude. I first went to the dentist in the 70s where you were lucky to get painkiller before the drill and told to be strong, as a result I have trauma from those times. Harriet was amazing today yet another awesome dentist at this practice who gave me the most comfortable filling ever and a very lovely reception team :-)

I am absolutely petrified of the dentist...But my dentist and the whole team have been brilliant, i am here as an NHS patient. I have lots of mental health conditions and they have reassured me and helped me to feel so comfortable. Everyone in the practice has been so respectful, helpful and so accommodating to my high needs. Can only be described as apathetic at best Called the surgery for an emergency appointment to be told 3 to 4 weeks to even register and told to ring 111 for an emergency dentist to then be told this surgery was my nearest emergency contact !! called back and was met with what can only be described as non interested can’t be bothered and loads of excuses by Jane, the receptionist that can only say no with no empathy or alternative suggestions. disgraceful and disappointing

I have been with Chestnuts dental practice for a number of years and they are absolutely brilliant. I also wanted my children to be registered at the same practice as myself, but unfortunately, they were full to capacity and not able to take on new patients. This was such a shame as the kids were already familiar with the dental practice and it would have been so convenient. But sadly, they can't make space where there isn't any.
