I've been a patient here for four years. Whilst I, like many people, are not excited about going to the dentist, this practice works hard to make you feel comfortable. Generally I attend 4 times a year for the Hygienist and twice for the dentist. After entering the practice, the reception staff are professional yet very warm and friendly. A really good experience throughout. The booking process is smooth with helpful reminder text messages and emails in advance, the staff are welcoming when you arrive. I had my front two upper teeth extracted and implants fitted which is a fairly major procedure. Oliver was superb at talking me through the issues in our initial consultation and recommending a treatment plan and then calm and assured during the procedure itself, putting me at ease throughout. I recently had re-root canal treatment with Dr Bhavin Bhuva at Heyford Smiles, and I cannot praise the experience highly enough. I have general dental anxiety, a strong gag reflex, and struggle with large x-ray plates, which can make dental visits quite stressful. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff – from the receptionists to Dr Bhuva himself – was warm, friendly, and understanding of my concerns. Dr Bhuva was absolutely brilliant. I cannot recommend Rebecca, my dentist at Heyford smiles, enough. I am 79 years old with a history of Trigeminal Neuralgia and very sensitive receding gums. I recently required prompt root canal treatment for an infection under a tooth and was resigned to the fact that it could be an unpleasant but necessary experience.
