Be aware you can no longer park at the surgery and this isn't apparent until you enter reception. There is pay and display next door but its cash only. My appointment was 25 minutes late because of a staff meeting which meant I very nearly didn't get back to my car within the time of my ticket. If I get a parking fine I will be passing it on to the surgery to pay!! My actual treatment was good but the experience marred by the lack of respect shown to a patient.
The reception girls really need to learn to smile. Theresa and her dental assitant were very welcoming. There is parking but not for patients which is anoying. The enviroment inside the building is spacious and clean, plenty of chairs in the waiting area and access to a bathroom.
Despite arriving early for my appointment I wasn’t seen until 12 mins beyond the booked time which is ironic when there are posters all around the waiting room stating that you can’t be any later than 10 minutes or your appointment will need to be rescheduled, also I was asked to fill out a personal details form upon arrival even though I’d completely an electronic one prior to the appointment as requested in an email, is the system they use not intelligent enough to recognise the pre- filled questionnaire. I think in the last 5 visits I don’t remember seeing the same dentist twice, either …
I was really pleased when I found an nhs dentist in my area. I needed a filling and a clean which was done at a reasonable price. Both the dentist and dental nurse were very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend :) Rich
