Smart Smiles Ystrad Mynach

Had my new patient consultation yesterday and yesterday and couldn’t be happier. Booing the appointment online was nice and easy, reception were lovely on arrival and filling in the forms was nice and easy. Charlotte was absolutely great for my appointment. She was very thorough and informative and put together a great plan for me for moving forward. So pleased I decided to go with Smart Smiles Ystrad!

I was nervous about my appointment, The staff were very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and my Dentist Deesha (hope i spelt it right) and her assistant were brilliant with me. Chatting like we knew each other for years. Having the xrays done were not as uncomfortable as they have been in the past. I was so grateful I had to give Deesha a hug of gratitude for my experience today. PS there are handy disabled parking a cross the road.

Being a big baby as far as the dentist is concerned - from a traumatic experience as a child - I NEVER thought i would be having regular visits for check-ups and hygienist. I had my hygienist visit earlier today and did try to have it done with electronic gear but had to stop and ask for it to be done manually. Although I felt stupid, I was not made to feel that way and the hygienist and assistant were both empathetic and understanding. I was with this practice years ago originally before smart smiles took over it was so good until they took over. All the staff are rude and incompetent. I Had a dentist who couldn’t even take impressions for a retainer properly when it was really imperative the impressions were done correctly. I was so upset about the matter that I made the complaint but was then asked to leave the practice due to a “breakdown of trust “ when it was the dentist made the mistake, I had done nothing wrong atall.
