Portland House Dental Practice

Honestly, the best dentist practice I've ever been to. Reception staff are all very friendly, and the dentist, hygienist, and nurses are all very professional, kind, efficient and knowledgeable. As someone with serious dental anxiety, to be treated with such kindness, compassion and understanding really is a breath of fresh air, and I am so glad to have a space on their books. They've got a patient for life here.

Terrible Experience – Extremely Rude and Unhelpful Receptionist I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at this dental practice has been beyond frustrating. I’ve been waiting over 2 years just to get a dentist, and the lack of help and care from the staff is shocking. I visited the practice a week ago and spoke to the first receptionist, who told me she would check the waiting list and give me a call. Extremely rude receptionist For a person working in a health care profession the receptionist I spoke to was appalling. For this reason alone I have left the practice since I found out that the receptionist is also working as a dental care assistant. The practice is small enough that the dentist must be aware of her horrible attitude on the phone and yet not provide mentoring or apologise for her behaviour. The woman at reception has no patience, empathy or manners and makes false accusations. Truly disgusting behaviour I have rarely seen in a health care ‘professional’ before.
