Queen Elizabeth II Hospital

Big parking, professional staff, nice building, comfortable for disabled. I'm happy I'm patient of this hospital.

I had some X-rays done on my shoulder after a fall while skiing. The staff was extremely kind, absolutely prepared and competent. They were very quick with the procedures, and everything worked perfectly. Absolutely recommended.

My husband had a suspected minor stroke and DVT and was treated between Lister Hospital and QEII Hospitals. His last follow up appointment was at New QEII hospital. Though we were hoping to see a Consultant, to our dismay, appointment was actually with a senior nurse (Jeni). Surprisingly, Jenny was very knowledgeable, patient, kind and professional. She was confident & competent enough to answer all our queries in detail and put our minds at ease. In fact, Jeni was more knowledgeable than our GP. Jeni is a great wealth to that hospital and wish we meet more Jenis in future.

Visited this afternoon. My husband was triaged, had two xrays and a further consultation with Kevin, all within an hour. Five star service, thank you to Kevin for his time and clear explanation and Stacey in the radiography department, an excellent service all round. Well done NHS
