Wish I had read the latest review. I went in with an infected wisdom tooth, told the dentist that I probably needed antibiotics and for £65 I paid for some mouthwash in my mouth and a little scrub instead lmao! Absolutely ripped off daylight robbery. Tried to press for a refund or a second opinion from another dentist or a free follow up and the practice manager said no which again is really silly when I’m in pain. I received excellent care when the surgery was Clayton and Scott, but after it was bought out or rebranded, although the reception and admin staff were still very helpful and friendly, the actual dental care and advice was awful. Since my Dentist has changed to Dr Ali, it has been like night and day and a return to previous form! He provides thorough explanations of all options for a specific issue and possible outcomes etc. He comes across to patients as personable, highly knowledgeable and his relaxed attitude would put nervous patients at ease... Terrible service at this dentists! I went to them as a private patient for an upper dental retainer. Total cost was £184. The surgery rang me after a week or so and told me it was ‘ready for collection from reception’. I was very surprised that I had not been offered an appointment with the dentist, as it is usual practice, from my previous experiences, that the dentist fits the retainer to make sure it is satisfactory. After just 3 months the retainer split on the top edge, tore my gums, made them bleed and very sore. I returned to the dentists and they asked me for another £46 to repair …

If you have to be seen by a dentist then this is the place to go. Everyone is really friendly and professional. Big shout out to my dentist Tina and dental nurse Hannah. They are both amazing. Whilst I don’t particularly enjoy visits to the dentist I don’t dread them either. That’s a huge plus for me. Thanks guys!
