I cannot speak highly enough of the staff on Turner ward, ICU and In Oncology. Every member of the team was amazing, compassionate, patient, and incredibly professional. The standard of care was absolutely wonderful. They all went above and beyond every day, not just in their clinical work but in the kindness, reassurance, and dignity they showed. Their dedication made an incredibly difficult time so much easier. Thank you to the whole team. Keep up the good work. You are all superstars!
We’ve had an incredible experience at Torbay Hospital. My wife is pregnant and due in April, and the staff have been amazing—supportive, professional, and caring throughout every appointment. From antenatal check-ups to advice and guidance, everyone has gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and informed. The facilities are clean and well organised, and the team’s kindness has made what can be a stressful time feel much more reassuring. Truly grateful for all their support
I had the misfortune to have a suspected stroke at home. I have never been in an ambulance. I was utterly impressed with the speed and care and attention right through to my arrival in George Earle ward where I continued to have wonderful care. We are SO lucky to have the NHS. Yes,they are busy but they are there instantly when it's an emergency it seems. Long may the NHS continue. Thank you!
The Staff are good at what they do and are very polite. But the pace of work is so slow. It takes so long for them to go through all the procedures as its not managed well or value for time. Any small buisness, would not survive on the NHS work model as its all done on the go slow. It would help if there was more management accountability of each system and to give patient updates more regularly.
