MyDentist – Tonypandy

I’m posting this review to share my experience and to ask the practice to resolve it based on evidence. I have received letters saying I am being removed from NHS treatment because I “did not attend” / “did not give enough notice”. I also received a warning letter making a serious allegation that I made “inappropriate comments” on the phone. I categorically deny being abusive or inappropriate. I had a course of whitening and composite veneers on my top six teeth with Myles, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I’ve been going to this dentist for many years. It’s based in a central location in Tonypandy with plenty of parking nearby and train and bus stations within walking distance. The staff are friendly however I am always hounded by phone calls txts and emails prior to my appointment which is extremely annoying and then when we arrive there’s always forms to fill in, I would much rather do these prior to my appointment online especially when I’m taking my 2 children with me. Our dentist is good very thorough and always receive good service.

Used to be a great dental practice and easy to get an appointment. unfortunately in the last few years waiting times for appointments are very long and 9 times out of 10 they will cancel your appointment even on the day of your appointment, this is likely so they can fit emergencies in from people who are not even registered at the practice. They are letting down the long term registered patients obviously getting extra money from government for carrying out treatment on these non registered patients.
