My son, also an NHS patient, had to wait a long time before getting seen. And before he was a patient calls and emails were unanswered. Even now that he is a patient, communication is still poor. On our first appointment, we've experienced rudeness from receptionist and discrimination for being NHS patient. Having arrived 1 minute late for his appointment, he was rescheduled to be seen after months. And the receptionist specifically explained "because it's NHS patient.". Senior orthodontist is excellent (Dr Prabatani). Always friendly, kind, thorough and gives honest feedback. We had a baby tooth that isn’t falling out and impacting the fit of our Invisalign braces. He was great at giving us advice and processes forward (either remove tooth or complete more x-rays for new aligners) with his views (he would rather not remove tooth and let it fall out in due course and get more aligners after x-rays). Yesterday my daughter had an orthodontic appointment through the NHS. Unfortunately the experience was very upsetting for her. The orthodontist repeatedly asked my daughter why her teeth were “black” and why she doesn’t clean them properly, instead of calmly explaining possible causes. My daughter felt embarrassed and left the appointment in tears. I explained that another dentist had previously told us it may be a type of bacteria that some children have, but the orthodontist suggested that maybe I give my children too many sweets, which felt quite judgmental and made me uncomfortable as a…

Absolutely disgusted with the staff at this dentist. The way they spoke to my disabled son was shocking! They are extremely rude and not friendly or polite despite us always being happy, Friendly and polite. My 2 boys are now refusing to go back because of how they were treated on their last 3 visits! Please if you have children attending this place, think twice as having children with disabilities and now a fear of the dentist isn't fun at all.
