Merin and Devi are golden. Absolutely lovely ladies. The 3 other women who did my procedure.. I was crying throughout it all and not once was I comforted, let alone being autistic this experience was already overwhelming. No bedside manner. Zero. I was traumatised silent crying throughout as I couldn't really move during it, which they acknowledged because I was told to slow my breathing down and got a quick 2 second shoulder rub. I wasn't spoken to, to calm me down put me at ease, no comfort was given and certainly no bedside manner was applied. This horrific experience will now stay with …
I visited the Endoscopy unit today for a flexible sigmoidoscopy, after being put on the Pathway for cancer investigation. To say I was nervous was an understatement! The whole team were wonderful, from Reception, to Merlin, Mandie and Saul. All put me at ease. Can't thank you enough!
During my appointment, the doctors were very nice. The visit was supposed to last an hour but was delayed by about 15 minutes. Apart from that, the previous medications didn't work and my symptoms returned, with increased severity. I was given the same medications... I don't recommend it. The NHS should eliminate these services and fire the doctors who check Google to see what they should prescribe.
Lovely Hospital. Lovely kind, patient and person centred staff. Very Clean. Easy to find your way around. Lots of parking. Lots of room to sit down. Wheelchairs available. Always happy to talk to you and reassure you.
