Smile in Durham

I have been a patient at this practice for more than forty years although it has changed hands many times.Sam is one of the best dentist I have ever had. He puts you at ease and explains everything he is doing. The best fillings I have ever had. Sam is a really nice man and Georgia dental nurse is lovely . Anyone who has issues with dentists , I couldn't recommend them highly enough

I called in yesterday to ask if they were taking on any NHS patients they said not yet im rating this 5 stars because the lady at the reception was lovely polite and respectful she even checked before she said. Last time i were here were back in 2016 when the Lad were in the upstairs a think his name was douglass flatt he were a brilliant dentist ashame he not there no more. The receptionist back then were rude and disrespectful. I cannot believe the rudeness of a staff member that threw my daughter off their books because she missed an appointment because she was ill. My daughter has autism and was very distressed and she couldn't tell the staff about her autism member. Autistic people find everyday life very challenging so I think staff need to be polite and understanding before they make decisions and judge everyone the same. I shall be contacting the dental surgery to discuss this further and if necessary to rectify otherwise will have to contact a higher authority

Just joined this practice the dentist (Sam)was excellent and explained everything in detail regarding my treatment .I felt very relaxed during the treatment.Thanks Sam and his assistant dental nurse.
