Conquest Hospital

I have just come out of the conquest, and what can I say.iwas on Cookson Attenborough ward.the staff were absolutely marvellous, from the consultant to the cleaners, nurses, and ward orderlies. They all worked so professionally with smiles on their faces and kindness in their hearts. Thank you all for making my stay so comfortable.

I cannot praise the efficiency, speed and kindness that was shown to me on being admitted to A&E last Friday night. I had passed out at home possibly due to a stroke. The paramedics and ambulance were there in minutes. I was thoroughly checked out with a full explanation given at each stage. All the staff are remarkable!

My friend had been transferred to Conquest for emergency surgery. The initial care snd communication prior to surgery and HDU were excellent. The problems started when he was transferred to Gardner ward and dealing with his discharge. There was no communication with me as a NOK about the discharge planning, he was sent home with not enough medication to cover him over the bank holidays and weekend. Well this has to be the strangest Google review I have ever done! After coming off my mountain bike and breaking both my ankles I feel I should give credit to the amazing doctors and nurses at Conquest hospital. I honestly couldn't fault them. I went to a couple of hospitals before I finally got referred here and Conquest showed the best professionalism and care. I was regularly checked on. I was kept up to date with what was going on. The surgeons that explained what procedure I was going to have were concise and clear. They even made me laugh on a few occasions which kept me positive. The…
